Buying your first indoor plant can be a very daunting task, especially if you have never had one before. There are countless varieties, and each has its own requirements to grow and thrive. Some plants need a lot of attention and highly meticulous care, so they become a considerable challenge.

But, there are also plant varieties that are very low-maintenance and forgiving when it comes to growth. They may not be as flashy and vibrant as other plants, but they can be equally fulfilling and enlivening. Plus, you would not have to worry about these plants dying in a month despite your best efforts. Here are a couple of plants that you would fall in love with as a plant parent in the long run!

1.Philodendron Brasil
It has streaky, heart-shaped leaves that grow from elegant vines. The plant looks absolutely breathtaking hanging from a window or spilling off a floating shelf. These plants do not really need a very sunny location in the house either. In fact, if the sunlight is too strong, the plant is prone to leaf burn.

2. Mini Money Tree
It has a unique shape for a house plant, but they are very easy to find despite that! They are affordable, pet-friendly and sturdy. They are an excellent long-term plant that is very easy to maintain. However, they are tropical plants and may not survive in overly dry homes.
